Jumpin’ Jay’s Fish Cafe in downtown Portsmouth will host a special Easter brunch on Sunday, April 5 from 10am–2pm.
Brunch at Jay’s only happens twice a year, so Easter is one of the rare chances to experience it. Instead of a buffet, Jay’s offers a full restaurant menu with seafood-forward brunch dishes and selections from the raw bar.
You’ll find dishes like Crab Cake Benedict, Lobster Roll, Belgian waffles with Maine blueberry compote, and Eggs & Hash with house-cured corned beef, plus brunch cocktails like the Seafaring Mary and Passionfruit Bellini.

Easter Specials @ Street Portsmouth
Street Portsmouth will be open for Easter brunch on Sunday, April 5 from 9:30am–3pm.
Street normally operates first-come, first-served, but reservations will be accepted for Easter Sunday. The restaurant will be serving its regular brunch menu featuring globally inspired street food dishes.
You’ll find favorites like Huevos Rancheros, French Toast Especiale, Sausage Gravy & Biscuits, and creative Benedicts like the Sweet Home Alabruncha or K-Town Benny.

Easter Brunch @ Ore Nell's Barbecue (Kittery, Maine)
Ore Nell’s Barbecue in nearby Kittery, Maine will be open for Easter brunch on Sunday, April 5 from 10am–3pm.
The restaurant will be serving its regular weekend brunch menu, which puts a barbecue spin on classic brunch dishes, along with a few specials for the holiday.
You’ll find favorites like Brisket Eggs Benedict with cilantro hollandaise, Pulled Pork Hash with salsa verde, Tex-Shouka with brisket chili and poached eggs, and fresh beignets with cinnamon sugar. Brunch cocktails like mimosas, Irish coffee, and Bloody Marys will also be available.

The Players’ Ring Theatre in downtown Portsmouth presents the magical family production The Little Prince on Saturday, April 4, with performances at 10:30 AM and 3:30 PM.
This imaginative adaptation by Rick Cummins and John Scoullar, based on the beloved book by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, is directed by Allison McCall and brought to the Ring by The Children’s Museum & Theatre of Maine.
When a pilot crash-lands in the desert, he meets a mysterious young traveler from a tiny asteroid. Together, they journey through a universe of curious grown-ups, a clever Fox, a proud Rose, and a world where imagination leads the way. Filled with wonder, humor, and heart, The Little Prince invites audiences of all ages to see the world through fresh eyes and remember that what truly matters is invisible to the eye.
Perfect for families and dreamers of every generation, this tender and whimsical production blends storytelling, adventure, and a timeless message about friendship, love, and curiosity.

Easter Brunch @ Jimmy's Jazz & Blues Club
Sages Entertainment, in partnership with Stroll Cafe, is excited to bring two Easter Bunny visit experiences to the Portsmouth community on Friday, April 3, 2026. The free morning visit will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and will welcome families to Stroll Cafe to stop by, say hello, and take photos with the Easter Bunny in a relaxed, community-centered setting. This drop-in style experience is designed to be easy, welcoming, and full of springtime smiles.
The afternoon ticketed experience will run from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and offers a more dedicated opportunity for families to spend time with the Easter Bunny and capture memorable photos together. Tickets for this session are $20 per family and provide a calm, family-friendly alternative to traditional photo lines.
Both experiences will have limited space to help ensure a high-quality, enjoyable experience for all attending families.
Stroll Cafe, located at 75 Portsmouth Blvd, Ste 125, Portsmouth, offers free parking, making it easy for families to attend and enjoy their visit.

The Library Restaurant in downtown Portsmouth will host a special Easter celebration on Sunday, April 5 from 11:00am–8:00pm.
Guests can enjoy a refined three-course Easter menu in one of Portsmouth’s most historic dining rooms, featuring seasonal flavors and chef-prepared holiday dishes.
The menu includes:
• Oyster “Surf + Turf” – Wellfleet oysters with prime beef tartare and green apple relish
• Honey Bourbon Glazed Spiral Ham with charred apple purée, beet greens, and root vegetable hash
• Meyer Lemon Tart with blackberry compote and pistachio crumble
For guests celebrating at home, The Library will also offer an Easter Take-Home Feast for Two, featuring Honey Bourbon Glazed Spiral Ham and Meyer Lemon Tart with easy preparation instructions included.
