Mission Statement

The Greater Portsmouth Chamber of Commerce Foundation, Inc., dba – The Open Door Foundation of the Chamber Collaborative is a 501(c) (3) tax exempt, fiscally responsible, not-for-profit corporation. The purpose of the organization is to strengthen the regional business community by advancing workforce development, expanding access to education, enriching community, mobilizing resources in times of need, and all other purposes permitted by law. We are managed by a volunteer Board of Directors and a professional staff. All contributions are tax deductible to the full extent allowable by law.

The Greater Portsmouth Chamber of Commerce, Inc. is a 501(c)(6) corporation, doing business as The Chamber Collaborative of Greater Portsmouth. We are a membership organization with a mission to lead the greater Portsmouth business community as a convener of people, businesses, and organizations, through communication, education, support, advocacy, marketing, and cooperative opportunities.
